I think I should move to Japan- they really get it. Its beyond the fact that mobile phone use is so deeply embedded into the culture now and has its own name (keitai) but that they understand that a cell phone should be seen and not heard. It is considered extremely rude to talk publicly on the phone and on the subway there are many signs prohibiting talking on your phone. Texting, and multimedia access are huge as are the use of 'charms' hanging on the phone to express your personality. And the selection of phones and features are unbelievable. Yep, that's it- I'm moving. (Or I could just be delirious from the flu I've been fighting the past few days!)
