Ugh, this one is another fail. Pieces that look great in theory go so
very wrong so quickly. These browns were too close to complement each
other (maybe because of the fabrics?) and the final straw was what
happened around the hips. Allow me to explain: I made the rookie mistake
of pulling a sweater over a flared skirt so the effect is that of
having padding over my hips. Then I tried to distract from that by
adding a belt- never try to draw the eye away from a fixable
problem. So, next time I attempt this look I'll use different colors and
a pencil skirt.
