Well, just when you thought things couldn't get any more litigious. Here is an ad from Ikea which has the Thai Transgender Alliance claiming that human rights have been violated. While I can see how some people might not find the ad quite as amusing as I did, how exactly is this violating human rights??
I'm almost more annoyed by the Alliance because this tack takes the spotlight off the conversation about why it might be considered offensive to some (and honestly, that's a dialogue I would not mind having as I could stand to learn more about the community). Instead, we are going to be distracted by how seemingly over-dramatic their response has been.
