The Kindle 2 has dropped in price from $359 to $299, and all things considered, I think that's probably the sweet spot for a lot of people interested in getting one.To put it in perspective- you can now get a Kindle2 and an iPhone 3G for just under $400! Add Whispersync to that equation, and it only gets better.
I've been reading books on my phones since the days of the Treo 600, so this really isn't for me, but if you're a heavy reader, and travel often, then this is a good time to pick one up!
