Yes, its true. Intomobile.com has information on the Asus m536 which looks to be the sexy half-sister of the Treo devices. It has a 320x320 touchscreen (which makes me wonder if there won't be problems running a number of applications on it for now). Its significantly thinner and has a fingerprint touchwheel which looks uber -cool. But, as is often the case, just when something is starting to look really good-there's a gut punch...Its not available for the US frequency.
