Rather than focusing on making this new phone a satellite phone, please slap a VGA screen on it and send it out to the masses for a good price.
I hate to state the obvious, but seeing as how you haven't exactly mastered the art of power conservation on your platform, I can only imagine the tiny window of talk time that this fella's going to have.
And also, since we already have Skype over WiFi, we're kind of covered in this area already. Mmkay?
And on a final note, since the satellite that you intend for this phone to work with is, you know, not in the air yet, you might find better things to spend your time on. Like that little thing called Windows Mobile 7. Which we've all been waiting with baited breath for....for the past 5 years or so.
